This is the Texas Houston South Mission office located in the Stake Center there in Sugarland. Laurie and Mike were in Houston for a wedding and dropped off Elder Chan's bedding and a wonderful care package for him to pick up on his arrival.
The Coming Soon Mission Board is right in the Mission Office and Elder Birks was the first one listed for arriving June 26th.
No wonder they have been so excited to have him come. They could see what an amazing young man he is from his missionary photo.
These two are the Assistants to the President who picked him up when he arrived on Tuesday.
This is the darling Mission Secretary who his holding a photo of his Mission President and his beautiful wife. They will be going home the first of July and he will have a brand new Mission President.
